Make a reservation!
ALL RESERVATIONS ARE NOW MADE DIRECTLY ON THE IN-PERSON CLASS SCHEDULE.
Reservations must be made for Fitness Equipment Orientations, Group Exercise Classes, Child Watch and to use the racquetball court. Reservations may be made up to 7 days in advance.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES EXCEPT CLASSIC STRENGTH AND CLASSIC CIRCUIT.
How to Make a Reservation
- View the In-Person Schedule found here: https://www.vsymca.org/schedules/
- Click on [category], [class name] or [instructor] to filter your preferences .
- Click the sign up link found on the right side of the screen.
- All members will need to create a new login. Click on Create a Login link on the middle tab.
- Enter your First Name, Last Name, Email Address and create a password as requested.
- Click Register.
- Reserve your spot.
- You will receive an email confirmation.
- From this email confirmation you can cancel the reservation or add the appointment to your calendar!!
- Join the Waitlist
If a reservation is not available when you try to reserve a spot, add yourself to the waitlist. If another member drops out you will automatically be notified.
- Step 1: Select “Join the Waitlist”
- Step 2: Check your inbox for an email notification you are on the waitlist.
How to Cancel a Reservation
If you can not make it to your reservation please be sure to cancel online.
Step 1: Locate your online schedule and your reservation. You will see an icon in the top right corner “My Reservations” to select.
Step 2: Look for the reservation you want to cancel and select “o o o “.
Step 3: Select “Cancel Reservation”.
Step 4: Confirm cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email.
Frequently Asked Questions
What amenities need a reservation?
At this time, reservations are required for group exercise and racquetball.
When can I reserve an amenity?
You will be able to reserve a class or racquetball court up to 7 days in advance. Reservations are made on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.
Does the reservation system close at any particular time?
Reservations will close one hour prior to start time. After this time, members will no longer be able to make reservations.
How will I know if my spot is reserved?
You will receive an e-mail confirming your reservation.
Is there a limit as to how many reservations I can make for a day?
No there is not a limit to how many reservations you can make. Please be sure to cancel any reservation you are unable to attend, as we are tracking “no shows”.
Can I reserve spots for someone else (husband, friend, sibling, child, etc)?
Each login has the capability to make group reservations. Please be sure to only make reservations for people who intend to use it.
What if I am having trouble reserving a space?
Please call the YMCA, (860) 399-9622 x100 for assistance with creating a reservation.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
If you can not make it to your reservation please be sure to cancel online.

Is there a penalty for making a reservation and not showing up?
We are hopeful that members will be respectful of the need to make reservations. However, should a staff member notice a member abusing the system, they may see the need to have a discussion with him or her. These incidences will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
If there are spaces available but I don’t have a reservation for one, can I still attend?
Yes! You are welcome to have access if there is availability. If all of the spaces are reserved and you don’t have a reservation, you will not be able to participate.
