We have a number of fun events each year to benefit our members and the Y! Our charity fundraising events raise funds to help off set the cost of programs, memberships and community garden. We rely on the support of key sponsors and community partners to help make these events a resounding success.
Annual Charity Golf Tournament
The Valley Shore YMCA’s is celebrating its 33rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, September 30th, 2024 at the Clinton Country Club.
The day promises to be filled with fabulous golf, delicious food, cocktails, and raffles opportunities, all to raise money to support recreational and social programs designed to help our community live healthy and stay active.
The 33rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament presents an exclusive opportunity for company recognition and marketing to an anticipated audience of over 100 guests who all have a vested interest in partnering with The Valley Shore YMCA to support programs that provide children, teens and adults programs that save lives and build a safe, confident community. Sponsorship involves creative brand placement, event marketing visibility and a partnership with a proven successful event.
Annual Charity Spin-a-thon Event
Our Annual Charity Spin-a-Thon to benefit our Annual Campaign which allows us to offer invaluable specialty health programs for cancer survivors, Parkinson’s disease, and adaptive programs for individuals with special needs. The event will include 20 teams of four who will ride for 4 hours to fundraise for this program and the Valley Shore YMCA.

Volunteer For An Event
Looking for a chance to volunteer in your community? YMCA events are held with three areas of focus in mind. Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. Volunteering for a Y event is a great way to give back to the community!
Community Impact
Our YMCA has provided over $150,000 annually in financial support to ensure that no one is turned away for an inability to pay. We have helped more than 350 participants become reinvigorated physically and emotionally as they have reduced stress, increased stamina and strength, and built meaningful relationships with other survivors through our Specialty Health Programs.
