Come swim at Valley Shore YMCA, whether you are a parent looking to teach your little swimmer water safety skills, an athlete looking to train and build endurance, or a senior working to stay active and socially connected. Our pool is an inclusive space for all ages and abilities to develop a love of water.

Pool Schedule

Become a member and use the pool during available swim times. We have lap swimming times available for swimmers who swim continuous full lengths in the pool and recreational swimming times for those who prefer to swim and exercise in a more open format.

Swim Lessons

The YMCA focuses on building strong confident swimmers using a skill based curriculum that allows students to flow easily from one skill to the next with clearly defined stages of progress. We offer group and private swim lessons to children and adults of all abilities.

Marlins Swim Team

Being a Marlin exposes children to self-discipline, respect, good sportsmanship and fun while allowing them to achieve their highest level of swimming and personal development.

100 Mile Swim Club

Challenge yourself to complete 100 miles this year! Track your distances and submit them below. We will total up each entry and post monthly updates.

Lifeguard Training

Learn how to respond to an emergency on and off the pool deck. You will be taught water rescues, CPR, AED, and First Aid. Must be at least 15 years old and able to pass the prerequisite swim test.

Aquacise Classes

Join a community of adults in a moderate water workout with little to no impact on the joints! Instructors will lead you through exercises to work on mobility, strength, balance, and stamina.
