Through the Y, hundreds of youth today are cultivating the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement. Today’s families need all the support they can to help children be the best they can be and the Y is here is to help! The Valley Shore YMCA provides Before & After School programs, pre-school & pre-k, summer camp for K through 9th grade, Child Watch while you workout and coming soon a new childcare center for infants & toddlers. These programs are designed to better prepare youth for their future with skills, confidence and social awareness that is needed to thrive. From early childhood to their teens and beyond, your child can discover their full potential at the Y.

Kids Night Out

This program offers parents and children the opportunity to kick back and enjoy a fun-filled Friday night. Children 8 -13 years old will participate in themed activities, sports, games, swimming, and crafts under the watch of Y staff members.

Child Safety Commitment

The Valley Shore YMCA does not tolerate the mistreatment or abuse of youth in our programs. Our organization performs criminal background checks, including screening through the national sex offender registry, on candidates prior to employment. Anyone with a background of mistreatment or abuse to youth will not be considered for employment or volunteer opportunities with our organization. As well, all reports of suspicious or inappropriate behavior with youths or allegations of abuse will be taken seriously. Our organization will fully cooperate with authorities to investigate all cases of alleged abuse.
