Hope is Power



If you are a cancer survivor or know someone who is, you may be eligible to participate in this program and receive a FREE 12 week membership to our Y! Our Hope Is Power at the YMCA program meets twice a week for 1 1/2 hours each class. Please spread the word to any survivors you know or contact the Y for more information. Hope Is Power

  • Has helped more than 50 local cancer survivors regain their vitality and sense of life since 2010.
  • Encourages life long wellness by providing this program and a free YMCA membership for all participants.
  • Provides small group personal training sessions led by specially trained staff to improve flexibility, regain strength, increase cardiovascular fitness, overcome fatigue and relieve stress.
  • Engages the survivors in a supportive, caring, and fun group environment. Our participants make friends for a lifetime!

Both nights will be held right here at the Valley Shore YMCA.  Come on down and meet with our two Certified Cancer Exercise Specialists, Lisa and Linda, and learn about this great, empowering program!
