Here is our first winter challenge of 2021: the Ironman in a Month challenge! The Challenge Wednesday, Jan 20 and ends Tuesday, February 17, 2021. In short, you have 30 days to complete 140.6 miles. You can do the traditional Ironman112 biking miles, 26.2 running miles run, and 2.4 swimming miles OR 140.6 miles of any combination of the sports. You can certainly pick a half ironman distance of 70.3 if you choose as well!
CHALLENGE LEVELS OF THE IRONMAN:
- IRONMAN DISTANCE (112 miles bike, 26.2 miles run, 2.4 mile swim or half that for a half ironman).
- Running– Total distance must be done jogging or running.
- Biking- Total distance must be done on a stationary bike or traditional mountain or road bike.
- Swimming– Total distance may be covered swimming laps, using fins, kickboards, or other floatation devices. Every yard counts!
How to log your miles
Go to the Ironman in a Month Tracking Sheet and enter your workouts daily. Be sure to enter your name consistently as follows: Last Name, First Name.
Your swim distance must be entered as yards and we will convert it when we update the weekly leaderboard.
