YMCA After School Registration Information
For School going to a Hybrid Models
Please register for your anticipated Before and After School need when children return to school. We will automatically prorate your fees for 2 days per week while students are learning in the hybrid model. Once you register, we will collect your child’s cohort days and keep you apprised of the status of the waitlist. Please be sure to see our Fall Hybrid Learning Camp if you need care and support during that learning phase.
Traditional After School Programs (in person, at school)
We are accepting registrations for the 2020-2021 school year and working with our local school systems to provide care to as many families as possible. However, there are many logistical details that are being worked on during a continually evolving environment, including room availability at each school, licensing requirements that impact staffing and program ratios, and capacity limits. We will regularly communicate with you as important changes are announced.
Each program at each location must have a minimum of sixteen full-time equivalent children in order to open and all children will be placed on a waiting list until that threshold is met. Priority is being given to five-day week registrations, and we will actively register all others as possible. Please register by August 17.
Our first priority is the safety of our children and staff. We are committed to working with our local school systems to ensure our program meets all regulations and standards.
Welcome to the YMCA After School Program! Here is all of the information you need to get your child enrolled in one of our quality after school programs. In order to successfully guarantee your child a spot in his/her program, all of the following forms must be present and completed on the day of registration. Each of these forms is also available at the YMCA Welcome Center at the Valley Shore YMCA in Westbrook, CT.
