Did You Know?
YMCAs are for people of all ages, incomes and abilities. Half of YMCAs' members nationwide are under age 18. YMCAs give teens a safe place to call their own, a chance to connect with adults who care about them and an opportunity to get involved in programs that help them grow.
Valley-Shore YMCA's Teen Leaders Club meets bi weekly 6pm at the Y, and is open to teens 12 and UP to get involved and get connected! Teens are given the opportunity to interact with peers of their own ages, make a difference in their community, while obtaining developmental experience and credentials of their own. This program gives teens access to a free membership, community service house, letters of recommendation, and most importantly allows them to become leaders.
